Jason Mraz 於 2005年 所發佈的歌曲〈Life is Wonderful〉，
收錄在他的第二張錄音室專輯《Mr. A-Z》中。
那時的「阿傑」Jason Mraz 還不是後來那個戴著草帽唱〈I'm Yours〉、
紅遍全台大街小巷的國民男神，
而是一個留著微捲短髮、文字遊戲玩到出神入化的音樂才子。
這首歌當年作為專輯的開場曲，
雖然不是那種典型的重磅打榜單曲（Lead Single），
卻成了無數資深歌迷心中最經典的「阿傑哲學」。
根據 Billboard 與 Genius 的分析，
這首歌展現了 Jason Mraz 早期極其迷人的「二元論」思維。
整首歌的歌詞幾乎全由「相對論」組成：
冷與熱、陰與晴、得到與失去。
這種寫法在當年被《Rolling Stone》評價為「富有層次感的文字遊戲」，

"It takes two floors to make a story"
這句歌詞是阿傑最擅長的「雙關語（Pun）」。
在英文裡，「Story」既可以指我們聽的「故事」，
也可以指建築物的「樓層」。
他說要兩層樓才能組成一個 Story，
表面上是說建築，
實際上是暗喻人生的故事需要層次感、需要高低落差，
才能稱之為精彩的故事。
"It takes the one to have the other"
這是整首歌的核心哲學，也就是所謂的「二元性（Duality）」。
阿傑在這裡其實是在講一種平衡感：
你不能只要甜的不要苦的，這是不符合宇宙法則的。
如果你的生命中沒有「負面」的參照，
你根本無法感知到「正面」的存在。
這是一種很成熟、很有厚度的人生態度。
"It takes the dust to have it polished"
這句話真的寫到心坎裡。
你要打磨（Polish）一個物品到發亮，
必然會產生碎屑或塵土（Dust）。
在人生中，那些被磨練的痛苦、失敗的灰燼，
其實就是你即將發光發亮的先兆。
如果沒有這些看似骯髒不堪的經歷，
你的靈魂永遠不會像現在這樣閃亮。
"It takes a hole to make a mountain"
這是一個物理與邏輯上的冷幽默。
要堆出一座山，你得先從旁邊挖一個大洞把土填上去。
這暗示了所有的成功（大山）背後，
一定伴隨著相對應的犧牲或空缺（大洞）。
這種觀點很有「老子」那種
「無中生有、損有餘補不足」的味道，
阿傑這才華真的不是蓋的。
