Linkin Park（聯合公園） 於 2003 年 所發佈的歌曲〈Somewhere I Belong〉，
是他們第二張神級專輯《Meteora》（流星聖殿）的首波主打單曲。
這首歌在當年不僅直接空降 Billboard 現代搖滾榜冠軍，
更在全球樂壇掀起了一場關於「自我認同」的集體共鳴。
這首歌的創作過程極其艱辛，
團員們曾表示光是副歌的歌詞就寫了超過 40 個版本，

"The fault is my own"
這句歌詞在整首歌中出現了四次，
是一種極其沉重的「自我歸因」。
不同於許多流行歌喜歡怪罪世界或怪罪前任，
聯合公園在這裡展現了一種近乎殘酷的自省。
在心理學上，這種過度的自我責難常是憂鬱與焦慮的來源，
但這首歌將其轉化為改變的動力——既然錯在自己，
那麼「修正」的主動權也在自己手上。
"What I thought was never real"
這裡反映了長期處於心理低潮的人
會產生的一種「現實感喪失」（Derealization）。
