OneRepublic 於 2009 年 所發佈的歌曲〈All The Right Moves〉，

由靈魂人物 Ryan Tedder 親自操刀編曲，

"All the right friends in all the right places"
這句歌詞描寫的是極其道地的
「裙帶關係」或「人脈政治」。
在西方文化中，"Right places" 指的不只是地理位置，
而是那些菁英匯集的俱樂部、
名流派對或是高端辦公室。
這句話其實是在諷刺那種
「認識誰比你是誰更重要」的社會潛規則，
也是台灣人常說的「朝中有人好做官」。
"King of Hearts and you're the Queen of Spades"
在撲克牌的隱喻中，
紅心（Hearts）通常代表感性、受歡迎或好感度；
而黑桃（Spades）則常被視為冰冷、
孤傲或是代表軍事/力量。
這句歌詞在暗示階級的落差，
即便妳有實力（黑桃皇后），
但在這個玩弄人心的權力遊戲（紅心國王）面前，

這源自於英文成語 "The grass is greener on the other side"
（鄰居家的草比較綠，類似外國月亮比較圓）。
