Katy Perry（凱蒂佩芮） 於 2017 年發行的這首《Witness》，
是她同名專輯《Witness》的開場曲，
也是整張專輯的核心靈魂。
這張專輯當時推出時評價兩極，
因為 Katy 剪了一頭極短的金髮，
宣示要從那個「水果姊姊」、
「瑪麗亞凱莉胸部噴火」的糖果色女孩，
轉型做「有意義的流行樂」（Purposeful Pop）。
雖然很多人不習慣，
但這首《Witness》的歌詞寫得非常有深度。
談戀愛談到最後，
我們要的不是什麼鑽石跑車，
也不是多轟轟烈烈的性愛，我們只想要有一個人，
能「見證」我們的一生。
就像電影《來跳舞吧》（Shall We Dance）裡的一句台詞：
