這句台詞深刻描繪了 Kendrick 在
加州康普頓（Compton）成長時的貧困景象。
「糖漿三明治」是當時窮人家孩子為了填飽肚子，
直接將廉價糖漿淋在兩片白吐司上的克難食物；
而「犯罪救濟金」則諷刺地說明在資源匱乏的貧民區，
非法收入往往是維持生計的唯一來源。
