One Direction（一世代） 於 2015 年 所發佈的歌曲，
作為他們第五張錄音室專輯《Made in the A.M.》的
宣傳單曲（Promotional Single）。
2015 年對全球的 Directioners 來說，簡直是驚心動魄的一年。
3 月份 Zayn Malik 剛宣布離團，剩下的四位成員 Niall、Liam、Harry 和 Louis
隨即在 9 月推出了這首帶有「冷玩樂團（Coldplay）」式體育場搖滾風格的〈Infinity〉。
這首歌在發行後，迅速在英國、愛爾蘭等多國榜單殺進前十名，
證明了這群少年仔即便少了一個人，氣場依然「正港」強大。
製作班底找來了樂團長期合作的
黃金搭檔 John Ryan、Jamie Scott 和 Julian Bunetta。
不同於過往那種純粹的泡泡糖流行樂，
這首歌展現了一種更為成熟、甚至帶點壯烈感的憂鬱。
主唱 Harry Styles 在副歌那段撕心裂肺的爆發力，
配上 Liam 的穩健、Niall 的清亮以及 Louis 那種帶點砂礫感的嗓音，
把那種「失戀後時間停滯、思念無止盡」的絕望感唱到了極致。
這首歌是在描述一種心碎後的徒勞感：
