Skid Row（史奇洛合唱團） 於 1991年 發行了這首經典單曲 〈Monkey Business〉，
並將其作為冠軍專輯《Slave to the Grind》的開場第一首歌。
這首歌可說是 Skid Row 從髮膠金屬（Hair Metal）轉型為更重、
更兇殘的鞭擊/重金屬混種的宣言。
歌詞並非單純的胡鬧，而是一幅描繪 90 年代初期紐約/紐澤西底層生活的浮世繪。
這裡有酒鬼、有想紅的複製人、
有不知搖滾傳奇 David Bowie 只知獵刀的無知屁孩。
最重要的是，副歌反覆提到的「Monkey on my back」是著名的毒品俚語，
意指「毒癮」像隻猴子一樣趴在背上甩都甩不掉。
Sebastian Bach 用這首歌咆哮著即使身處在這個充滿謊言、
偽善與「社會閹割」的瘋狂世界裡，
他也不會讓那些骯髒的勾當（Monkey Business）變成他的負擔。
這是一首關於拒絕同流合汙、
拒絕被這爛社會給搞瘋的硬漢戰歌！
這首歌的歌詞極具畫面感，
那是因為這是主唱 Sebastian Bach 和貝斯手 Rachel Bolan 坐在街邊，
觀察路過的怪人所寫下的真實筆記。
那個「袋鼠女士（Kangaroo lady）」是真的有這個人！
她是一個穿著有大口袋衣服、
