Linkin Park（聯合公園） 於 2007 年 所發佈的歌曲〈Bleed It Out〉，
收錄在他們的轉型大碟《Minutes to Midnight》（末日警鐘：毀滅·新生）中。
這首歌在當時的搖滾樂壇引起了不小的震撼，
因為這群 Nu-Metal 霸主竟然放下了招牌的電子取樣與厚重的破音牆，
改用一種近乎「龐克舞曲」般的直覺節奏示人。
根據 Billboard 的訪談紀錄，
這首歌其實是專輯中最後才完成的作品之一，
也是主創 Mike Shinoda 創作過程中最「抓狂」的一首歌。
Mike Shinoda 在 Genius 的解說中提到，
為了這首歌的歌詞，他大概重寫了上百遍，
直到最後一刻才定稿。
這首歌的主題其實就是在講「創作的煎熬」。
歌詞中的「Bleed it out」字面上是流血，
但在這裡比喻的是藝術家為了產出完美的作品，
不惜把靈魂榨乾、把血流盡的自虐過程。
Rolling Stone 評價這首歌是「一場在錄音室發生的派對暴動」，
整首歌充滿了手掌擊節（Handclaps）與 Rob Bourdon
那種充滿原始風味的強力鼓點，
讓它成為樂團現場演出的必備燃曲。
製作人 Rick Rubin 當時鼓勵樂團去追求一種更「真實、原始」的聲音，
所以〈Bleed It Out〉聽起來不像前兩張專輯那樣精雕細琢，
反而有一種雜亂、狂野且充滿汗水的現場感。
這首歌也展現了 Chester Bennington 處理快節奏歌曲的高超技巧，
他在副歌中的嘶吼與 Mike 的俐落饒舌完美交織，
成為 Linkin Park 職業生涯中最具標誌性的快節奏單曲，

"Hand grenade pins in every line"
這是一個極度暴力且生動的比喻。
Mike Shinoda 把創作歌詞比作玩命。
每一行字都像是一顆隨時會爆炸的手榴彈，
如果你處理不好，不僅傷不到聽眾，反而會炸死自己。
這反映了 Linkin Park 在轉型期承受的巨大壓力：
他們必須寫出驚世駭俗的作品，
否則就會被音樂工業的洪流給淹沒。
"Candy paint on his brand new hearse"
「靈車上刷著亮麗的漆」這句充滿了黑色幽默與諷刺。
