Don't try turning tables instead
Turn the tables 是英文常見的慣用語，
原本與遊戲或競爭中逆轉局勢的概念有關，
意思是反敗為勝、扭轉原本對自己不利的情況。
放在這首歌裡，
則帶有警告對方別想反過來掌握主導權的意味。
歌詞前面才提到道歉，
接著便要求對方不要試圖改變局勢，
暗示說話者已經厭倦那些反覆出現的藉口與爭執。
這裡並不是單純拒絕溝通，
而是他認為自己已經給過太多次機會，
