Charlie Puth (查理·普斯) 於 2018 年 所發布的歌曲 〈Change〉，
收錄在他那張備受好評的專輯《Voicenotes》中。
這首歌的份量很不一般，因為查理找來了他的音樂啟蒙偶像、
美國民謠界的傳奇大老 James Taylor 一起合唱。
你要知道，對於一個音樂人來說，能跟自己的偶像合唱，
那感覺就像是你小時候愛看武俠片，
結果長大後真的跟金庸一起寫小說一樣，簡直是夢幻聯動！
這首歌在發布當時有個非常重要的背景，
查理是在 2018 年洛杉磯的
「March for Our Lives」（為我們生命而走）
大遊行中首度現場演出。
當時是為了抗議美國校園槍枝暴力、呼籲和平。
查理在接受《Billboard》採訪時曾提到，
這首歌是他跟 James Taylor 共同創作的，
他想傳達一個很簡單的念頭：
為什麼我們不能好好相處？
查理不再只是唱著那些糾結的情愛糾紛，
而是把目光轉向了這個社會。
James Taylor 那種像陳年老酒一樣醇厚、
充滿磁性的嗓音，配上查理乾淨的歌聲，
聽起來真的會讓人有一種
「啊，這世界還是有希望的」那種感覺。
這種感覺就像是在冷冷的冬夜，
喝了一口溫熱的燒酒，暖到心坎裡。
歌詞裡反覆提到的「The day we know we're all the same」，
這句話講得真好。大家都是人生父母養，
吵來吵去、鬥來鬥去到底要幹嘛？
不如把那份力氣拿來「靠近一點」——嘿，
我說的是心靈上的靠近，
當然如果你想跟隔壁正妹生理上的靠近，
那也得先用「愛」去感化人家，不能亂來啊！
