Sara Bareilles 於 2007 年所發佈的歌曲，
作為她主流出道專輯《Little Voice》的首波主打單曲（Lead Single），

當時 Sara 正處於與唱片公司（Epic Records）的拉鋸戰中，

"Make or break"：這是一個非常道地的英文口語，
意指「不成則敗」或「生死存亡的關鍵」。
在音樂產業裡，這通常指一張專輯如果沒中，
歌手可能就此被冷凍。
"High and dry"：原意是指船隻擱淺，
但在這裡形容一種被拋棄、孤立無援且進退兩難的窘境。
這也是對唱片公司施壓的一種無聲抗議。
"Walk the seven seas"：這是一個古老的航海隱喻，
象徵願意為了某件事付出極大的代價或勇氣。
