註解補記
「Making love out of nothing at all」
這句歌詞是整首歌的靈魂，
也是 Jim Steinman 式的經典文字遊戲。
「Making love」在一般的語境下常指親密行為，
但在這裡更多是指「創造一份愛情」。
「Out of nothing at all」則是在讚嘆對方的能力，
主角自認什麼都有、
什麼都懂，但在愛情的世界裡，
他原本是一無所有的。
而對方卻能像魔術師一樣，
在什麼基礎都沒有的情況下，
憑空建立起這麼龐大且動人的情感連結。
「I know all the rules and then I know how to break 'em」
這段歌詞描繪了一個極度自信、
甚至有點「狂」的男人形象。
